PRAYER

The congregation of PathWay Church believes that prayer is our vital communications link with the heart of God. We know that when we pray for ourselves, family members, friends, neighbors, communities, or anything else causing us anxiety, confusion, great distress or pain, that God hears us and strengthens us. Through prayer, we grow in our love, faith, and relationship with God.

We also realize that when God answers our prayers, the answer we receive is not always what we expect, but trust in the fact that God will always do what is best. Members of our congregation have experienced His amazing answers to prayer and we would love to be able to lift you up in prayer for God’s help.

At PathWay Church, we fully believe in what Scripture tells us: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV)

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him. (1 John 5:14-15, NIV)

The pastor and a small group of committed followers of Christ will pray daily over every prayer request received. Prayer requests will be kept confidential, unless permission is given to send out the request to all PathWay Church congregation members who are committed to prayer.
