GIVE

The worshipers at PathWay Church give because God gave first. He gave each of us life and all the amazing things around us through creation. God provides us with what we need when we need it. We view giving as an act of worship and that giving reflects our faith and love for our “Benevolent Creator.” As believers, through these gifts, we share the love of God as we support our congregation, our outreach projects in our community, foreign missions, and the broader life of the Christian Church. We choose to contribute joyfully and with gratitude for the things that God has done on our behalf.

At PathWay Church, we fully believe in what Scripture tells us:

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10, NIV)

Funds are used to support the local church, outreach programs, and community. Designated funds are used to support our global ministry partners serving oversees, benevolence giving to those in need, scholarship funds for college students, and discipleship studies.

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8, NIV)

If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? (1 John 3:17)

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. (Hebrews 13:16, ESV)

Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. (Proverbs 21:13, ESV)

There are many ways you can maintain your faithfulness in giving. You might choose to:
